Her first name is Stafani Joanne Angelina Germanotta. She was born on 28th March,1986 in Yonkers New York. as the eldest child to Italian and American parents Joseph and Cynthia Germanotta. when she was 11, Lady GaGa was sent to join Juilliard School Manhattan, but instead attended Convent of the Sacred heart, a private School.

Playing piano by ear from the age just four, Lady GaGa went on to write her 1st piano ballad at age 13 and began performing at open mike nights by age fourteen. At age 17 she gained early admission to the New York University’s Tisch School of Arts. There, She learnt music and improved her songwriting skills by composing essays and analytical papers focusing on the topics such as religion and art. She later withdrew from the university to focus on her musical career.

She signed with Def Jam Records at age 19, after record executive L.A.Reid heard her singing down the hallway from his office. However, GaGa claims Reid never meet with her, and after three month, GaGa was dropped from the lable. She moved out of her parents house and started performing downtown in the Lower East Club scene, with bands Mackin Pulsifer and SGBand. Around the same time, GaGa she started taking drugs and performing in burlesque shows; Lady GaGa said her father “just didn’t understand it” and that he could not look at her for several months.

Rob Fusari, Music producer helped Lady GaGa write some of her earlier songs, compared her vocal style to that of Freddie Mercury. He nicknamed her GaGa, after the Queen song “Radio GaGa” She began to use it as her stage name and known thereafter as Lady GaGa.

By 2008, She had relocated to LA, working closely with her record ladel to finalize her debut album The Fame. GaGa said that she combined a lot of different geners on the album “The Fame”, “from Def Leppard drums and handclaps to metal drums on urban tracks.
